The goal of our worship team is to lead you as a group into genuine worship of a risen Saviour.  This year as we seek to find our place in God's story, we realize that worship is so much larger than ourselves. When we join together in worship, we also join with those who have gone before us and with those who will come after us in worshiping a God who has always been, and will ever be.  We understand that God is calling us to respond now to His call on our lives; not just for our benefit, but to accomplish the great will of a masterful God.

I am pleased to have a great group of musicians to work with, but even more excited that they are also a great group of worshipers that love God.

Our group consists of

Darian Brown - Bass Guitar 

• Darian is an Ontario boy transplanted into Steinbach, MB. He and his wife Brenda lead the youth ministry at Calvary Chapel in Steinbach. Darian is one of the biggest pranksters I have ever met.

Brenda Brown - Vocals & Violin

• Brenda has worked with YFC in Steinbach and Woodstock, ON.  Married to Darian 10 years ago. At her wedding she sang in group called "the Wedding Band."

Karen Friesen - Piano

• Karen is a stay at home mom.  She is part of the Sr. Youth leadership at the Steinbach EFC.  She has a strong desire to see youth follow God in genuine relationship. 

Tim Gibbons - Drums/Percussion

• Tim is the Youth Pastor at the Braeside EMC.  He is also an Ontario boy. His claim to fame being the former youth leader of one of the guys from TFK.

Kara Honsberger - Vocals

• Kara is a new mom, married to Eric. She is involved in the youth ministry at Ridgewood EMC.  She is a passionate worshiper with a heart to see teens changed by the power of God.

Dale Wiebe - Electric/Acoustic Guitar

• Wow another Ontario boy! (represent!) Dale grew up in Leamington, and so can answer almost any question about tomatoes.  Dale is part of the youth ministry at the Steinbach EFC.

Mo Friesen - Vocals/Acoustic Guitar

• I'm the Associate Pastor at the Steinbach EFC. Married to Karen. I had the priviledge of being able to lead the Abundant Springs family in corporate worship in 2007 and I'm excited to see what God has in store for 2009.
